The capital of Hungary is perfectly located on the banks of the Danube, one of its most beautiful views opens from the Fishermen's Bastion, resembling an elegant palace. It was built on a hillside in 1899 where the fish market previously was located.
Seven bastion towers symbolize seven brave Hungarian tribes. The bastion is especially beautiful at night time, when its walls are getting illuminated from the ground, and at night the city flickers and the lights are reflected in the waters of the Danube.
The bastion is open to public 24 hours.
